Cool little plaza in the middle of the town of Arcata. Lots of little shops selling souvenirs, clothes, music and art supplies. Also quite a few good restaurants around. The plaza has parking all around, one way traffic, a bunch of benches and grassy area to run around definitely make a stop if you're nearby!

I absolutely love the Arcata plaza for local events and just to go to the small business’. The homeless sometimes can be a little rowdy, but they don’t typically congregate for long.

I'm glad they got rid of the statue of President McKinley...it never belonged there! Now in the middle of the plaza is pretty plants. The plaza is in the middle of a square of nice stores and restaurants. The plaza is a nice place to walk …

Farmers market doesn't disappoint. Wide range of products to get from coffee to fresh meat and eggs. Honey to jams and spicy sauces. Also cooked food, tamales to hot dogs and hamburgers and vegetarian options.
